Do you have a current practicing license to legally undertake plumbing and gas fitting?
Yes. 4CET Plumbing and Gas holds Certifying Gas Fitter and Certifying Plumber licenses.
Will I need a consent?
If work is of a minor nature more than likely not. If you are adding say, an extra toilet in an ensuite for example then yes, If unsure contact 4CET.
How much does a consent cost?
Minor Works Quick consents are between $200 – $300 and are usually processed within 5-7 working days. The council will base there fee around the costing of the work to be undertaken for larger projects.
How effective are over the counter chemicals I buy from the supermarket at unblocking drains?
These are a quick fix solution and won’t necessarily clear a blockage completely – save yourself the money call a 4CET Plumber.
How long do I get to pay a bill?
7 working days from receipt of invoice.
How much do you charge for after hours work?
Between 5pm and 7.30am Weekdays – minimum $150 callout fee. Public Holidays/Weekends (from 5pm Friday – 7.30 am Monday) – minimum $250.
