• If we can do your job, we’ll walk you through our pricing process and tell you what we think it will cost.
• If we can’t do your job, we won’t pretend that we can. Instead we’ll refer you to somebody that we trust who can look after you.
• If we’re in the middle of doing your job and we find something that changes how much it will cost, we’ll tell you promptly.
• We’ll tell you what we’ve found, what we think should be done about it and why, and what the change in cost will be.

We’re super organised

We have a digital business management system which helps us to keep track of absolutely everything, including:

• Who you are, and your contact details
• All of our calls and conversations, agreements, questions etc.
• Details of all the jobs that we’ve done for you
• Any other tradespeople who helped with your job; who they are and how to contact them
• All plans, specifications, photographs and information relevant to your job(s)
• And on and on …

No matter whether we’re on a job site, or answering your call out of hours when the toilet just blocked up, our system tells us everything we need to know.

Digital time-keeping, photographic records

• We use an electronic time-keeping system, which means that you only pay for the exactly work we do for you.
• We take photographs of all work that we do for you and keep them on your file. If someone needs to know exactly what was done at your place, we have that information stored in our system.

Need a good builder, electrician, tiler, draughtsperson, architect? We have a database of reliable tradespeople that we trust to treat you well.

We value health and safety, yours and ours

We’re committed to getting your job done safely and well. Among many other things, our comprehensive Initial Site Visit Checklist prompts us to check for any onsite hazards. If we find any, we take care to manage them properly according to our Industry standard.

• We always use the right tools for the job and if we’re missing something we need, we go and get it. We’d rather have a short delay than have an incident at your place.
• If the job needs several pairs of hands, we make sure we have enough people around. We won’t short-cut on health or safety to make a job cheaper. That’s not how we work.

We don’t make the same mistake twice

We’ve done the rounds and we’ve seen it all. We’ve learned not to assume anything or take anything for granted.

We take care every time, because we’ve learned the hard way that “Whatever rule you think is always going to apply, today might be the day you meet the exception to that rule.”

We’re connected with community and family

4CET is a family oriented business. Our kids are growing up and like many parents we run them around to after school activities like sports practice and dance class. We even help the kids at Johnsonville Rugby Club with coaching and practical support, so things get a bit frantic at the start of the rugby season!

We’ve been working with some of our clients for long enough to see their kids grow up. Some of them go to school with ours.
