When you contact us about a job we’ll ask you lots of quesions. Some of the most common ones follow below.
What do you want done?
We’ll learn as much as we can about what you want done, and we’ll often ask you to send photographs and any other information you can supply.
Some things are best discussed when we visit, but the more we know before we turn up, the better.
When do you want the work done?
We can usually fit small jobs in pretty fast, but it’s different when your job is large or complicated. A big renovation or a complex project will involve a number of different tradespeople, and they all have to be available at the right time.
For this reason you could be waiting for anything from a few weeks to a number of months. That’s better than having your job stalled and waiting. We won’t let you go there.
Is anyone else already working on your job?
We don’t mind, we just need to know who they are so that we can work together smoothly as a team.
With good communication and coordination, everyone gets to work on your job on the right day and at the right time. That just makes sense.
What’s your budget?
We’re used to working with budgets and we take care to cost every detail of a job. While we can’t eliminate all surprises, with our many years of experience we usually know what to expect.
We’re also realistic. If we think your budget you won’t give you what you want, we’ll tell you.
